Initial Consultation Agreement
CONSULTATION PROVIDED BY A REGULATED IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT
This Initial Consultation Agreement is made between the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (“the RCIC”), and Client , for the purpose of receiving a one or two (1 to 2) hour consultation to assess the client’s complete application that seeks to be submitted to either the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Cizitenship Canada “IRCC” or a provincial government. By signing this intitial consultation agreement, the client understands the following:
- The Client acknowledges that this consultation is limited to a review of the Client’s completed application. The RCIC has not been retained to represent the Client in the submission of the application or any subsequent steps of the immigration process.
- The Consultant will analyze and provide advice regarding the forms, supporting documents, and eligibility based on the information provided by the Client. This includes a review of the Client’s application package (which the Client has completed independently), offering feedback, and providing recommendations for improvement if applicable. However, the RCIC is not acting as a representative in the submission or ongoing processing of the Client’s immigration application.
- The Client is solely responsible for completing and submitting the application, including ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all forms and supporting documents. The RCIC will not take any further action beyond the consultation provided, and no ongoing legal or procedural representation is implied or established through this agreement.
- While the Consultant will work with you as part of this review service or consultation toward your desired outcome, all immigration application decisions are subject to numerous variables. Accordingly, the Consultant cannot guarantee that any specific result will be achieved, and the fee for this service is not contingent upon the success of any immigration application.
- The accuracy and relevance of the Consultant’s guidance depend on the completeness and accuracy of the information the Client provides. The advice offered is highly sensitive to the specifics of the Client’s situation; therefore, any omitted or incorrect information may result in guidance that does not fully apply to the Client’s case.
- Please note that immigration laws, policies, and procedures are subject to change. Likewise, the applicability and accuracy of the Consultant’s advice may be affected by new information or changes in your personal circumstances following the consultation. Clients are encouraged to remain informed of relevant legal developments and seek updated advice as necessary. The Consultant is committed to providing current and accurate guidance within the scope of this review service, based on the information and documentation made available to them.
- Confidentiality: Any information and documents you provide during the initial consultation will be kept strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or as stipulated under the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council Code of Professional Ethics.
- Service Agreement Requirement: If, after the initial consultation, you decide to retain our services and we agree to represent you, we will draft a separate, more comprehensive Service Agreement to be signed by both parties. This new Service Agreement will replace this Initial Consultation Agreement and will outline the terms and conditions of our representation, including our fees and the specific services we will provide.
Cost of Initial Consultation:
The Client is obliged to pay a fee as per the option of of 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours.
If payment is made from abroad, GST will not apply. This payment will cover the professional fees related to the matters outlined above and is due upon signing this Initial Consultation Agreement and before the consultation begins. The fee can be sent via e-transfer of paid by credit card upon request of an invoice.
The fee of this consultation is contained in the official receipt and confirmation email sent to the client. In addition, the fee is stipulated on the booking information prior client’s consent to buy it.This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of british columbia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Please be advised that RCIC is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its Bylaw, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. The CICC licenses and regulated all Canadian immigration and citizenship consultants in the public interest.
